Just what I need!
8:58 AM: Well, it's a damned good thing that I woke up early to walk that dog in Queen Anne.
I was up by eight thirty and I went out to check the garden and greet the cats, and there's this... weird scratching sound coming from the other side of the fence. I'm thinking it's a raccoon or something, so I shoo the cats inside and go to chase the thing away, and sure enough, there's a freaking zombie in my neighbor's yard, clawing at the fence that separates our properties. Shit. I haven't seen any others, but zombies are kind of like roaches, or ninja; for every one that you see, there are hundreds that you don't.
I gotta figure out a plan. Moreover, I gotta get some guns.
